At the Newcastle Funeral Home we are dedicated to providing the type of service that is meaningful and meets the needs of each individual family. We also believe that the caring and support shouldn't stop when the funeral ends.
Our Genesis Bereavement Resource Centre provides a valuable assistance to families facing the difficult times that follow the loss of a loved one. Our library of over 150 books, pamphlets, and videos covers topics on all aspects of loss and separation for all ages, and anyone in the community is welcome to use these resources. Many individuals and groups in the community use our resources, including volunteers, teachers, clergy, and health care professionals.
We welcome you to drop in to ask questions, obtain information or just to visit and chat.

About Your Funeral Director
Originally from Wilmot Township, a small farming community near Kitchener/Waterloo, Carl Good brings over 30 years of funeral service experience to the families of Newcastle and the surrounding communities. He has served on Ontario Funeral Services Association committees and was a Board of Funeral Services Embalming Examiner for Humber College's funeral program students for eight years. His wife Joyce Kufta is also from a funeral service background, with more than 25 years experience in funeral home administration. Together they have made Newcastle their home and take great pride in the restoration of this historic building to serve their community as a proudly Canadian family owned and operated funeral home.
